We able to have the patio door aja so Kato can do out on the patio when wanted to do so. I waned to share my Iron Cross begonia with you. I an finding touchy and I have also let it too dry a couple of times. About 3 weeks ago I shared a blue orchid with. I took a picture of it last night. If we were sharing coffee🍡 I would tell you that I had a shocked this week when I went to use my Kindle and found Amazon had updated it and I couldn’t see the reading. Alita fond the problem before she left that day. The brightest had been dimmed. Later I found where I could enlarge the font on several places. Since that time Amazon has optimist the Kindle a cople of times. Β I am still not too thrill with the update but I am getting used to it. I may even like it when I understand how it is functioning. My gmail is confusing me for some reason. Some fonts I find are difficult for me to read. Hereare some flowers to brighten the day.

Good afternoon, Betty Louise. First, I’d have to tell you that I’m jealous of your Idaho spring. Here in Ottawa, we had about 15 cm of snow this week to add to the 53 cm the week before. We’re supposed to get more snow overnight tonight with the possibility of freezing rain, at least, until the temperature drops to -5Β°C.
I would have to tell you that your flowers look lovely. They would certainly brighten my day.
I will pray for your husband’s doctors, that the operation goes well, and that he comes through it with flying colours. I’ll bet he’s looking forward to being able to do some things again that he hasn’t been able to do for awhile.
Your book list looks great. I’ve always enjoyed the Mrs. Jeffries series and I know that I’ve read that one. They’re thoroughly enjoyable without too many murders or anything too grizzly. Then There Were Nuns sounds interesting. I’m not familiar with that author but will certainly look into it.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend and are able to get out into your gorgeous spring countryside.

    • Our winter has been mild here in the valley and it looks like and early spring. My husband has had a number of heart surgeries and this one should be minor.
Unless you have ARC of the Mrs Jefferies book it is a new one and hasn’t been realised yet. The motive goes back to India. I felt it was better written than her previous books. Just slightly different and it made it better.
Kylie Logan book is the latest in the Literary Lady’s series. They all are take off of classic books. Three neighbors were constantly in court over minor events. The library was in danger of losing funds. The judge sentenced them to joined the Guild and read the current book. The first one was MAYHAM AT THE ORIENTAL EXPRESS. All are good.
Have good weekend in sprite of the snow.

It’s been going from warm to cold here, but hasn’t been warm enough to leave a window or door open quite yet. I hope your husband bounces back pretty quickly after his procedure. Have a great week!

  5. Colline says:

Your orchid is absolutely stunning. I received one as a gift last year from a parent but alas, it did not last too long as I have never had an orchid to care for before. My mom tells me that I overwatered it πŸ™‚

    • The information that comes with orchid say water good once a week. The blue one run water through once a week. The number cause of houseplant failure is improper watering. I have lostva few and my Iron Cross is very touchy.

  6. Hope your husband’s pacemaker goes well. My Mum had one put in a few years ago and she has done really well with it. They also monitor it from a modem in her house down to Brisbane. It saves her a couple of specialist doctor visits a year which is great.
Love the texture of the begonia and the flowers certainly brightened my day. Glad you found the brightness on your kindle. You get lost without it particularly when you read as much as you do. Have a great week. I won’t tell you that our weather is perfect.

    • Yes, that begonia has always been a favorite. Yet it is seldom seen. I was delighted to find one. It is sure touchy about water and light. Now I know why itvis seldom seen. The name fits it. My Kindle is a my life and I wouldn’t have much of a life without it.

  7. DailyMusings says:

That Begonia is a beauty! I hope all goes well with your husband and he has an easy time of it.

  8. Pretty flowers. Thanks for sharing. And best wishes to your husband! ~Tara

  9. Hope the pacemaker goes well. We are having some of that pretty weather too until tomorrow a little cooler and rain and maybe some storms.

I hate it when features on an electronic device, like a Kindle, just up and change. I never can remember where the doodad or switch is to change the feature back to what I prefer. Botheration, eh? Best wishes on your husband’s upcoming surgery. Thanks for stopping by my blog to comment. I always love hearing from you.
