Plummeregon is busy Getting ready for The Best Keep Village Competition. Lord Colveden takes a photo of Plummeregon as it exists and Miss Seeton paints the town with the improvements suggested by the committee. The last picture shows the town burning. The Colvedens decide to cut off part of her picture. Nothing is quiet with Miss Seeton involve. The neighboring town fires are burning a lot. There is one death that brings the Oracle and Bob Ranger to town. These various subplots are brought together skillfully. There are scenes that are funny. I am looking for the release of the next book.

I received a free copy from the publisher through NetGalley for an honest review. I would like to thank them for this opportunity to read and review the book. The opinions expressed are my own.

PUBLICATION DATE: SEPTEMBER 8, 2016
