I decided to read this book to occupy my mind from the recent turmoil. To my surprise I found the subject matter to be about hate grows and prostitution. The author has become one of my must-read authors. I have followed Red Solaris as she journeys to become Dean of the Journalism at a small college in Northern Nevada. Red’s problem a hate group has invited a speaker to speak at their house. The College is worried about the students’ reaction to the speaker’s message. One of Red’s students has shared the story of her life as a prostitute and asked Red help in rescuing her underage cousin from the same life. Joe goes undercover to see if he can be rescued the girl. Joe disappears in the underworld. His contract has been stabbed and beaten. Red is frightened for Joe and has a special message to give him. I especially like Dead Solaris solution of her problem of freedom of speech. I highly recommend this book. Disclosure: I received a free copy from HENERY PRESS through NetGalley for an honest review.
