After waking up to a dusting of snow each morning, it was lovely to seeing the sun and birds flying everywhere with appearance of mating occurring. Then morning doves and red wing-blackbirds come on the patio for seed. A bird I felt was a cassin finch was there yesterday. I have not been fast enough to get a picture yet. At other feeding area there are at least 50 California quail. This week a number of male mallards have been feeding. I have seen at least one female. Other birds around are robins, house finches, crows, ravens, starlings and house sparrows. One day a sharp-shine hawk look over the feeding areas to see his next meal.
Think Positive! Hugs!
