Flower of the Day – April 27, 2017 – Tulip
http://floralfridayfoto.blogspot.com
Before we left the Pacific Northwest, we visit one the tulip bulbs farms. I don’t remember the name but it was in Tacoma, Washington. The enclosed pictures as serve me many times. The original one is the first picture post. The others I modified it and used them separately. Cee’s visit to her tulip farm remained of them.

Your tulip photos are stunning. 😀
Thanks
That is really spring!
Greetings from Germany
Spring has been a long time coming.
The flowers are absolutely beautiful.
Thanks!
Lovely tulips!
Thanks!
They are just beautiful!!
Thanks!
Your pictures are so beautiful and quite a treat for me. We have flowers year round in Pátzcuaro, Michoacán, but I don’t think I have seen any tulips here. Tulips, daffodils, and hyacinths say “spring” to me.
Thanks! Mexico has many natives that day summer like marigold, dahlia and the poinsettia for winter. But I suspect many parts of Mexico would not be cold enough for the bulb plants.
You are right about the flowers we have here. I hadn’t thought about that cold factor being necessary for bulbs. You are so right!
As an experiment you might try freezing the bulbs in a freezer for a couple months.
